Device Groups

Device groups are groups of devices that you can work with as a unit, making any device-based actions easier to perform. From the View Device Groups list, you can click the name of a device group to view the group properties. You can also view the devices in a selected group in the View Devices list on the View Device Groups page.

Device Group Name

Name of the device group.

Default Task Package

Default task package assigned to the device group.

Changing the associated task causes all devices in the group to receive a load task action item. See Task Package Load Association Priority.

Notes

Any notes associated with the particular device group.

Automatic task package loads

Indicates that the default task package loads onto the devices in the device group when the devices either enter the sleep state or when the devices are placed into a charger.
